A new Roadside Station opened in Shitara Town on Thursday, May 13, 2021!
At this comprehensive facility you can get close to the region’s history and culture through a wooden railroad car display from the former Toyohashi Railway Taguchi Line, a place where you can experience Japanese sake brewing, or the Okumikawa Local Museum. At the shopping center you can also buy vegetables straight from the farm or enjoy a meal.

Facilities Promoting Regional Industry
Facilities include Seirei Shokudo, a restaurant where you can taste menu items made with plenty of local ingredients that can only be found here; Seirei Ichiba, a market with rows of regional specialties largely harvested in Shitara Town; an old Shitara school returning under the name Houraisen Sake Laboratory where you can experience making sake; and the Shitara Town Tourism Association Office.
